TEAMS UPDATE: Game reporting instructions have been updated...
UPDATE: The game reporting instructions have a final update as indicated below. These instructions are also posted on the BGL website under "How To Report A Score".
WHEN GAME IS OVER
The HOME MANAGER uploads the gamesheet information (as described below) and the hard copy game sheet on the RAMP website with in 24hrs. You can also complete this from your phone or computer by going to Ramp Login site and using your team's manager log-in and password.
***ONLY COMPLETE THE MANDATORY SECTIONS AND FIELDS AS DESCRIBED BELOW:
- Click Games
- Locate the correct game and click the Game-sheet button.
- Click Final tab - input final score - click Game is Finished, then Submit
- Click Roster tab - Check off all players (Home team and Away team) that are on the game sheet, uncheck all players that did not play, \click Submit.
- Click Penalties tab - Enter all penalties for both teams. All fields must be completed. Enter zeros in fields if needed. Click Submit.
- Click Goalies tab -BGL does not require goalie shots to be recorded. BGL does require the total time that a goalie played during the game be entered. In the goalie section, there are two lines under each team. This is not meant for period 1 and then period 2. It is meant for 2 different goalies if you have 2 that play for your team. If only one goalie played during your game, then all that goalie's time and stats get entered in line 1.
- Click Upload Files tab - Upload Game sheets. Simply Browse your drive to select the scanned image and then upload. Be sure to select the type of upload as well. This is for uploading a copy of the game sheet. You can also supply any notes to the upload. RAMP will not accept file names that use any symbols. Game-Sheets CANNOT have the following special characters in the file name, otherwise the file will be corrupted. UNUSABLE File Name Characters - ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) Suggestion of file names: game sheet 89. You can also upload a photo of the game sheet that you have taken on your phone, using your library. Uploaded game sheets must be clear and legible, otherwise you will be asked to upload again.
The VISITING TEAM MANAGER needs to verify within 48 hours, that the information on the website is correct according to the paper game sheet they received after the game.
- Click Games
- Locate the correct game and click the Verify button
- When the home team has inputted the stats, it is the visiting teams job to ensure that the stats are correct by changing the Verification Status. It will show Pending Verification. If all stats look correct that were entered by the Home Team Manager then change the status to Verified. If there are errors, then change it to There are Errors. Any discrepancies can be documented in the notes and the home team is to rectify. Nothing can vary from the official game sheet. Send the HOME Team Manager an email asking them to address the errors.
- Once it has been changed the visiting manager needs to verify the game. Please recheck frequently to see if the changes have been made. If errors are not being corrected in a timely manner, please contact the BGL Statistician.
The games have been loaded into the individual teams' webpage and calendar as of 24NOV2016. The pools within each Division level are now listed.
The Session 2 Schedule has now been posted for ALL Divisions. The games can be found in an excel file posted to the menu tab SESSION 2 - SCHEDULE DOCUMENTS. The schedule will be uploaded to the BGL website pools and calendar shortly. Until this happens you will NOT see the games under the Division tabs or on the calendar.
PLEASE NOTE: All reschedules must be handled by the Association Ice Allocator, and submitted using the RESCHEDULE A GAME tab. All changes to the schedule (reschedules) will be made within the live Division pages, standings, and schedules. The changes will NOT be made in the original excel documents posted under SESSION 2 - SCHEDULE DOCUMENTS. Please visit your team's Division for the most current information.
