Hello All BGL Team Head Caches, Managers, Member Reps, and BGL Executive,
As many of you are aware there have been issues (glitches) with GAMESHEET reporting. The BGL Member Reps and Board decided that for Session 2 only certain fields would need to be completed. The revised game reporting instructions were emailed and posted to the website. Since the start of Session 2, there continues to be issues as it appears the system requires goal detail entry to properly complete the sections of penalties and goaltending time. Therefore, I have received countless emails from numerous teams asking for assistance. However, I simply do not have the human resources to cope and manage the personal communication required. I thank you for your patience and understanding with this year’s pilot of the Ramp gamesheet reporting capabilities. It is with that being said, I have decided a CHANGE TO PROCESS must occur immediately. Teams will be required to ONLY complete the following mandatory game reporting requirements as instructed below. It must also be noted that any emails sent to the BGL Statistician address within the past 2 weeks regarding game reporting issues will not be responded to. The following game reporting instructions will apply to all 2016-2017 SESSION 2 games.
WHEN GAME IS OVER
The HOME MANAGER uploads the gamesheet information (as described below) and the hard copy game sheet on the RAMP website with in 24hrs. You can also complete this from your phone or computer by going to Ramp Login site and using your team's manager log-in and password.
***ONLY COMPLETE THE MANDATORY SECTIONS AND FIELDS AS DESCRIBED BELOW***
The VISITING TEAM MANAGER needs to verify within 48 hours, that the information on the website is correct according to the paper game sheet they received after the game.
