IMPORTANT - Game Reporting Message
Hello All Team Staff and Managers for ALL Divisions,
Please be sure that the following information is given to your Team Managers and Head Coaches,
This message is to inform all BGL Teams of the following:
This season there has been regular audits of the game reporting data. There has been many email reminders and notices sent by me, the BGL Statistician & Webmaster, to teams and BGL Member Representatives that have missed the game reporting deadlines, not uploaded hard copy gamesheets, have not corrected errors that have been reported by the visiting team, etc.
As we head into the tail end of the league season, there will no longer be any courtesy emails. There has been more than sufficient time for Team Staff to familiarize themselves with the Game Reporting Process. Teams will now have 7 days (deadline of February 11, 2018) to complete any outstanding deficiencies in their game reporting for all games played in Session 2 that are due up until this deadline date.
Should the game reporting not be completed and any deficiencies corrected, fines will be assessed to the associations as per BGL Appendix B Fees and Fines:
- Failure to complete game statistic submission $300 per instance
All Teams have the ability to log into their BGL team site and review their league games in Session 2. It is very clear whether a game has been reported by the Home team, verified by the Visitor Team, whether errors have been reported and need correction, and whether hard copy gamesheets have been uploaded. There will be no exceptions, so please take the time that has been given to carefully review your games.
This audit process will once again occur at the conclusion of Session 2, and the procedure of assessing fines for failure to complete game statistic submission will apply.
